A nd the priest shall take from the oblation a memorial thereof, and shall burn it on the altar, an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour.

Preotul va lua din darul de mîncare partea care trebuie adusă ca aducere aminte, şi o va arde pe altar. Acesta este un dar adus ca jertfă de mîncare, de un miros plăcut Domnului.
