A nd the priest shall take up from the meal-offering the memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

Preotul va lua din darul de mîncare partea care trebuie adusă ca aducere aminte, şi o va arde pe altar. Acesta este un dar adus ca jertfă de mîncare, de un miros plăcut Domnului.
