Y ea, thou heardest not, yea, thou knewest not, yea, from of old thine ear was not opened; for I knew that thou wouldest ever deal treacherously, and thou wast called a transgressor from the womb.

Sí, nunca lo habías oído ni nunca lo habías sabido. Ciertamente no se abrió antes tu oído, porque sabía que siendo desleal habías de desobedecer; por tanto te llamé “rebelde” desde el vientre.
