Exodus 22:9 ~ ﺍﻟﺨﺮﻭﺝ 22:9

A s to all manner of fraud,—as to ox, as to ass, as to sheep, as to clothing, as to everything lost, of which saith, It is this—the cause of both parties shall come before the judges: he whom the judges shall condemn shall restore double to his neighbour.

«إنْ فُقِدَ ثَورٌ أوْ حِمارٌ أوْ خَرُوفٌ أوْ ثَوبٌ أوْ أيُّ شَيءٍ آخَرُ، وَجاءَ رَجُلانِ يَقُولُ كُلٌّ مِنْهُما إنَّ المَفْقُودَ لَهُ، تُقَدَّمُ دَعْواهُما إلَى القُضاةِ، وَالَّذِي يَحكُمُ القُضاةُ بِأنَّهُ المُذنِبُ، يُعَوِّضُ جارَهُ ضِعفَينِ.
