Exodus 22:9 ~ ﺍﻟﺨﺮﻭﺝ 22:9

F or every unlawful deed, whether it concerns ox, donkey, sheep, clothing, or any lost thing at all, which another identifies as his, the cause of both parties shall come before God. Whomever shall condemn shall pay his neighbor double.

«إنْ فُقِدَ ثَورٌ أوْ حِمارٌ أوْ خَرُوفٌ أوْ ثَوبٌ أوْ أيُّ شَيءٍ آخَرُ، وَجاءَ رَجُلانِ يَقُولُ كُلٌّ مِنْهُما إنَّ المَفْقُودَ لَهُ، تُقَدَّمُ دَعْواهُما إلَى القُضاةِ، وَالَّذِي يَحكُمُ القُضاةُ بِأنَّهُ المُذنِبُ، يُعَوِّضُ جارَهُ ضِعفَينِ.
