A nd the inhabitants that were first in their possessions in their cities were the Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.

وَكانَ إسْرائِيلُ وَالكَهَنَةُ وَاللّاوِيُّونَ وَخُدّامُ الهَيكَلِ هُمْ أوَّلَ مَنْ عادَ وَسَكَنَ فِي أرْضِ آبائِهِمْ وَفِي مُدُنِهِمْ.
