A nd went and told David concerning the men; and he sent to meet them, for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Abide at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.

Los mensajeros se fueron, y cuando David se enteró de lo que les había sucedido, mando gente a que los recibieran, porque estaban muy ofendidos. Pero el rey mandó que les dijeran: «Quédense en Jericó hasta que les crezca la barba. Entonces volverán.»
