A nd David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me to drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is in the gate!

وَقالَ داوُدُ بِحَنِينٍ: «أتَمَنَّى لَو يُعْطِيَني أحَدٌ بَعْضَ الماءِ مِنَ البِئْرِ الَّتِي بِالقرُبِ مِنْ بوَّابَةِ بَيْتَ لَحْمَ!»
