A nd he took his eldest son, that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him up for a burnt-offering upon the wall. And there was great wrath against Israel; and they departed from him, and returned to land.

便 將 那 應 當 接 續 他 作 王 的 長 子 ， 在 城 上 獻 為 燔 祭 。 以 色 列 人 遭 遇 耶 和 華 的 大 怒 ( 或 作 招 人 痛 恨 ) ， 於 是 三 王 離 開 摩 押 王 ， 各 回 本 國 去 了 。
