A nd David said to Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall, I pray thee, into the hand of Jehovah; for his mercies are great; but let me not fall into the hand of man.

فقالَ داوُدُ لجاد: «أنا فِي ضِيقٍ عَظِيمٍ وَوَرْطةٍ حَقِيقيَّةٍ. لَكِنِّي أختارُ أنْ أقَعَ فِي يَدِ اللهِ ، لِأنَّ رَحمَتَهُ عَظِيمَةٌ جِدّاً. هَذا أفْضَلُ مِنْ أنْ أقَعَ فِي أيدِي بَشَرٍ.»
