A nd behold, the whole family is risen against thy bondmaid, and they say, Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may put him to death, for the life of his brother whom he killed; and we will destroy the heir also: so they will quench my coal which is left, and will not leave to my husband a name or remnant on the earth.

Acum, tot clanul s-a ridicat împotriva slujitoarei tale, spunându-i: „Predă-ni-l pe cel care şi-a ucis fratele, ca să-l omorâm, căci i-a luat viaţa fratelui său. Îl vom nimici şi pe moştenitor!“ Ei vor stinge astfel singurul cărbune care mi-a mai rămas, lăsându-l pe soţul meu fără nume şi fără moştenitor pe pământ.
