这 人 被 犹 太 人 拿 住 ， 将 要 杀 害 ， 我 得 知 他 是 罗 马 人 ， 就 带 兵 丁 下 去 救 他 出 来 。

This man was seized by the Jews and was about to be killed by them. Coming with the troops I rescued him, having learned that he was a Roman.
