以 色 列 人 說 ： 巴 比 倫 王 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 吞 滅 我 ， 壓 碎 我 ， 使 我 成 為 空 虛 的 器 皿 。 他 像 大 魚 將 我 吞 下 ， 用 我 的 美 物 充 滿 他 的 肚 腹 ， 又 將 我 趕 出 去 。

“Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has destroyed me, and has crushed me. He has made me like an empty pot. He has eaten me up like a large, angry animal. He has filled his stomach with my good food, and he has washed me away.
