隨 後 眾 首 領 來 見 耶 利 米 ， 問 他 ， 他 就 照 王 所 吩 咐 的 一 切 話 回 答 他 們 。 他 們 不 再 與 他 說 話 ， 因 為 事 情 沒 有 洩 漏 。

—And all the princes came to Jeremiah, and asked him; and he told them according to all these words that the king had commanded. And they withdrew quietly from him; for the matter was not reported.
