Т огава Ефтай събра всички галаадски мъже и се би против Ефрем; и галаадските мъже изтребиха Ефремовите потомци, тъй като си казваха: Вие сте отстъпници от Ефрем, а ние, галаадците, сме между Ефрем и Манасия.

And Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim; and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, Ye, Gilead, ye are fugitives of Ephraim in the midst of Ephraim, in the midst of Manasseh.
