С ниши се и седни в пръстта, девице, дъще вавилонска; седни на земята, а не на престол, дъще халдейска; защото няма да се наричаш вече изтънчена и изнежена.

¶ Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground, without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans; for thou shalt no longer be called tender and delicate.
