А Давид, като погледна и видя, че ангелът Господен стоеше между земята и небето с гол меч в ръката си, прострян над Йерусалим, тогава Давид и старейшините, облечени във вретища, паднаха на лицата си.

And David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the heaven and the earth, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.
