A nd the king said unto the guard that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of Jehovah; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew that he fled, and did not disclose it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of Jehovah.

Luego dijo el rey a la gente de su guardia que estaba a su lado: —Volveos y matad a los sacerdotes de Jehová; porque también la mano de ellos está con David, pues sabiendo ellos que huía, no me lo hicieron saber. Pero los siervos del rey no quisieron extender sus manos para matar a los sacerdotes de Jehová.
