1 Samuel 18:8 ~ ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻷﻭﻝ 18:8

A nd Saul was very wroth, and this saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?

وَأزعَجَتْ هَذهِ الكِلِماتُ شاوُلَ وَأغضَبَتْهُ كَثِيراً. وَقالَ في نَفسِهِ: «نَسَبَتِ النِّساءُ الفَضلَ لداوُدَ فِي قَتلِ عَشَراتِ الأُلُوفِ، وَلَمْ يَنسِبْنَ لِي إلّا قَتلَ أُلوفٍ. فَماذا بَعُدُ؟ لَمْ يَبْقَ سِوَى أنْ يأخُذَ العَرْشَ مِنِّي!»
