A nd he did valiantly, and smote the Amalekites, and delivered Israel out of the hands of them that despoiled them.

كانَ شاوُلُ شُجاعاً جِدّاً. فَخَلَّصَ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ أعْدائِهِمِ الَّذِينَ حاوَلُوا أنْ يَنهَبُوها. وَهَزَمَ شاوُلُ حَتَّى عَمالِيقَ.
