A nd the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about me by night; me they thought to have slain, and my concubine they forced, and she is dead.

Ma gli abitanti di Ghibeah si levarono contro di me e attorniarono di notte la casa ove mi trovavo, con l'intenzione di uccidermi; ma invece essi violentarono la mia concubina, ed ella morì.
