A nd the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about upon me by night, and thought to have slain me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead.

Ma gli abitanti di Ghibeah si levarono contro di me e attorniarono di notte la casa ove mi trovavo, con l'intenzione di uccidermi; ma invece essi violentarono la mia concubina, ed ella morì.
