F or the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh.

En effet, la loi, qui possède une ombre des biens à venir, et non l'exacte représentation des choses, ne peut jamais, par les mêmes sacrifices qu'on offre perpétuellement chaque année, amener les assistants à la perfection.
