F or though I made you sorry with my epistle, I do not regret it: though I did regret it (for I see that that epistle made you sorry, though but for a season),

Mesmo que a minha carta lhes tenha causado tristeza, não me arrependo. É verdade que a princípio me arrependi, pois percebi que a minha carta os entristeceu, ainda que por pouco tempo.
