N ow these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

وَقَدْ حَدَثَتْ هَذِهِ الأُمُورُ مِثالاً لَنا، لِئَلّا نَكُونَ مِمَّنْ يَشتَهُونَ أُمُوراً شِرِّيرَةً مِثلَهُمْ.
