T hy shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria; thy nobles are at rest; thy people are scattered upon the mountains, and there is none to gather them.

În timp ce păstorii tăi dorm, împărate al Asiriei, şi viţeii tăi se odihnesc, poporul tău este risipit pe munţi, şi nimeni nu -l mai strînge.
