N evertheless leave the stump of its roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven: and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth:

Però lasciate in terra il ceppo e le sue radici, ma legati con catene di ferro e di bronzo, tra l’erba dei campi; sia bagnato dalla rugiada del cielo e, come gli animali, abbia in sorte l’erba della terra.
