H ear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it.

Dëgjo, o tokë! Ja, unë do të sjell mbi këtë popull një gjëmë, vetë frytin e mendimeve të tij, sepse nuk u kanë kushtuar kujdes fjalëve të mia dhe as ligjit tim, por e kanë hedhur poshtë.
