H ear, O earth: behold, I am bringing evil upon this people, the fruit of their thoughts (their schemes and devices) because they have not listened and obeyed My words, and as for My law, they have rejected it.

Dëgjo, o tokë! Ja, unë do të sjell mbi këtë popull një gjëmë, vetë frytin e mendimeve të tij, sepse nuk u kanë kushtuar kujdes fjalëve të mia dhe as ligjit tim, por e kanë hedhur poshtë.
