O ur fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; They remembered not the multitude of thy lovingkindnesses, But were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.

Nuestros padres en Egipto no entendieron tus maravillas; no se acordaron de la muchedumbre de tus misericordias; sino que se rebelaron junto al mar, en el mar Bermejo.
