S ome also there were that said, We are mortgaging our fields, and our vineyards, and our houses: let us get grain, because of the dearth.

وَقالَ آخَرُونَ: «لَقَدْ قُمْنا بِرَهْنِ حُقُولِنا وَكُرُومِنا وَبُيُوتِنا لِنَستَدِينَ مالاً لِشِراءِ قَمْحٍ أثناءَ المَجاعَةِ.»
