T he sons of Levi, heads of fathers' houses, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

وَكُتِبَتْ أسْماءُ رُؤَساءِ عائِلاتِ الَّلاوِيِّينَ فِي دَفْتَرِ السِّجِلّاتِ حَتَّى زَمَنِ يُوحانانَ بْنِ ألِياشِيبَ.
