F or Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of Jehovah, and out of the house of the king and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but it helped him not.

Aunque Acaz despojó la casa de Jehová, la casa real y las casas de los príncipes, y lo dio todo al rey de los asirios, éste no lo ayudó.
