T he Philistines also had invaded the cities of the lowland, and of the South of Judah, and had taken Beth-shemesh, and Aijalon, and Gederoth, and Soco with the towns thereof, and Timnah with the towns thereof, Gimzo also and the towns thereof: and they dwelt there.

Filistenii au năvălit în cetăţile lui Iuda din zona deluroasă şi din Neghev, au cucerit Bet-Şemeş, Aialon, Ghederot, Soho cu satele dimprejurul ei, Timna cu satele dimprejurul ei, precum şi Ghimzo cu satele dimprejurul ei şi s-au aşezat în ele.
