T hou sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten Edom; and thy heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide now at home; why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?

Tu te gîndeşti că ai bătut pe Edomiţi, şi de aceea ţi se înalţă inima ca să te mîndreşti. Acum stai mai bine acasă. Pentruce să stîrneşti un rău, care ţi-ar aduce peirea ta şi a lui Iuda?``
