A nd Abijah and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men.

وَألحَقَ جَيشُ أبِيّا بِجَيشِ إسْرائِيلَ هَزِيمَةً شَديدَةً، وَقُتِلَ خَمسُ مِئَةِ ألفٍ منْ خِيارِ رِجالِ إسْرائِيلَ.
