A nd Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For Jehovah had ordained to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that Jehovah might bring evil upon Absalom.

Absalón y todo su ejército consideraron que el consejo de Jusay el arquita era más atinado que el de Ajitofel. Y es que el Señor había decidido frustrar el acertado consejo de Ajitofel para preparar la caída de Absalón.
