a nd said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us.

قالُوا لَهُمْ: «لا نَقْدِرُ أنْ نَفعَلَ هَذا الأمْرَ. لا يُمكِنُنا أنْ نُزَوِّجَ أُختَنا مِنْ رَجُلٍ غَيرِ مَختُونٍ، فَهَذا عارٌ لَنا.
