A nd Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she is thy wife. And how saidst thou, She is my sister? And Isaac said unto him, Because I said, Lest I die because of her.

Abimelek l-a chemat pe Isaac şi i-a zis: – Cu siguranţă, ea este soţia ta! Atunci de ce ai pretins că este sora ta? – Pentru că mă temeam că voi muri din cauza ei, a răspuns Isaac.
