1 Samuel 5:3 ~ ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻷﻭﻝ 5:3

W hen they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon had fallen upon his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and set him in his place again.

وَفِي صَباحِ اليَومِ التّالِي، نَهَضَ سُكّانُ أشدُودَ وَذَهَبُوا إلَى مَعبَدِ داجُونَ. فَلَمّا دَخَلُوا وَجَدُوا داجُونَ ساقِطاً عَلَى وَجهِهِ إلَى الأرْضِ. إذْ كانَ داجُونُ قَدْ سَقَطَ أمامَ صُنْدُوقِ اللهِ. وَأقامَ أهلُ أشدُودَ صَنَمَ داجُونَ وَأعادُوهُ إلَى مَكانِهِ.
