1 Samuel 5:3 ~ ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻷﻭﻝ 5:3

A nd when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.

وَفِي صَباحِ اليَومِ التّالِي، نَهَضَ سُكّانُ أشدُودَ وَذَهَبُوا إلَى مَعبَدِ داجُونَ. فَلَمّا دَخَلُوا وَجَدُوا داجُونَ ساقِطاً عَلَى وَجهِهِ إلَى الأرْضِ. إذْ كانَ داجُونُ قَدْ سَقَطَ أمامَ صُنْدُوقِ اللهِ. وَأقامَ أهلُ أشدُودَ صَنَمَ داجُونَ وَأعادُوهُ إلَى مَكانِهِ.
