S o David took the spear and the bottle of water from Saul’s head, and they got away. And no man saw or knew or wakened, for they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from the Lord had fallen upon them.

Tomó, pues, David la lanza y la vasija de agua de junto a la cabecera de Saúl, y se fueron. Pero nadie lo vio ni lo supo, tampoco nadie se despertó, pues todos estaban dormidos, ya que un sueño profundo de parte del Señor había caído sobre ellos.
