W hen Saul returned from following the Philistines, he was told, Behold, David is in the Wilderness of En-gedi.

وَبَعدَ أنْ طارَدَ شاوُلُ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ، قِيلَ لِشاوُلَ: «داوُدُ فِي مِنْطَقَةِ البَرِّيَّةِ قُربَ عَينِ جَدْيِ.»
