A nd as soon as the lad was gone, David arose from beside the heap of stones and fell on his face to the ground and bowed himself three times. And they kissed one another and wept with one another until David got control of himself.

După plecarea băiatului, David s'a sculat din partea de miazăzi, apoi s'a aruncat cu faţa la pămînt şi s'a închinat de trei ori. Cei doi prieteni s'au îmbrăţişat şi au plîns împreună. David mai ales se prăpădea plîngînd.
