S aul sought to pin David to the wall with the spear, but he slipped away, so that Saul struck the spear into the wall. Then David fled and escaped that night.

Saul a încercat să-l ţintuiască pe David cu suliţa de zid, însă acesta s-a ferit de Saul, care a înfipt suliţa în perete. Apoi David a fugit şi a scăpat în noaptea aceea.
