S aul sought to pin David to the wall with the spear, but he slipped away, so that Saul struck the spear into the wall. Then David fled and escaped that night.

Allora Saul cercò di inchiodare Davide al muro con la lancia, ma Davide schivò il colpo e la lancia andò a conficcarsi nel muro. Davide fuggì e si mise in salvo quella stessa notte.
