Judges 6:39 ~ Giudici 6:39

A nd Gideon said to God, Let not your anger be kindled against me, and I will speak but this once. Let me make trial only this once with the fleece, I pray you; let it now be dry only upon the fleece and upon all the ground let there be dew.

Gedeone disse a Dio: «Non si accenda l’ira tua contro di me. Io non parlerò che questa volta soltanto. Permetti che io faccia un’altra prova con il vello: resti asciutto soltanto il vello e ci sia della rugiada su tutto il terreno».
