A nd the Benjamites went out against their army and were drawn away from the city; and they began to smite and kill some of the people as at other times, in the highways, one of which goes up to Bethel and the other to Gibeah, and in the open country—about thirty men of Israel.

Şi fiii lui Beniamin au ieşit înaintea poporului, şi au fost traşi departe de cetate. Au început să lovească de moarte în popor, ca şi în celelalte dăţi, pe drumurile cele mari, cari suie: unul la Betel şi altul la Ghibea prin cîmpie, şi au ucis aproape treizeci de bărbaţi din Israel.
