L est the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer while his heart are hot with anger and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him even though the slayer was not worthy of death, since he had not been at enmity with him previously.

De lo contrario, si el camino es largo, el que quiera vengar al muerto podría perseguir al homicida y alcanzarlo y, enfurecido, herirlo de muerte, cuando en realidad no merecía morir porque nunca antes medió enemistad con su prójimo.
