A nd Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His mother, Behold, this Child is appointed and destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is spoken against—

ثُمَّ بارَكَهُما سِمعانُ، وَقالَ لِمَريَمَ أُمِّ يَسُوعَ: «جُعِلَ هَذا الطِّفلُ لِيُسقِطَ وَلِيُقِيْمَ كَثِيْرِيْنَ فِي بَنيْ إسرائِيلَ، وَلِيَكونَ بُرْهاناً ضِدَّ المُقاوِمِينَ!
